The SCTC Foundation was established to carry forward the vision and mission of St. Cloud Technical College which is: "To provide a quality education focused on highly skilled workers." It is our goal to help students reach their dream - of an education - by providing the much needed financial assistance for student scholarship awards. These students are our future employees and neighbors in our community. The impact of a scholarship lasts a lifetime.

Thanks to generous donations, the SCTC Foundation has many scholarship awards available.

Selection for student awards is made by evaluation of many different criteria. While scholastic achievement is always desirable, our awards are selected by evaluation of many different criteria including:

1. Interested/committed to a program of study.
   
2. Involvement with school, family, employment or community activities.
   
3. Leadership roles and/or awards received.
   
4. Life experiences that have influenced personal growth.
   
5. Application effort.

Students can attend a free Scholarship Awards and Financial Aid Training Workshop for information on how to complete the Scholarship Awards Application and the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
