Applications will be accepted until the program is full. The application will be pulled from the web once the class has reached the required size.

This application to the nursing program is in addition to the application to the St Cloud Technical College. Please apply to the St Cloud Technical College first.  All required paperwork is also due at this time. This includes, CPR card, NA certificate (or proof of class), and work experience.

Rubric guidelines

 

  • A point system is used for applicants considered for the PN Program.
  • Applicants considered must have completed their developmental courses as indicated by Accuplacer scores- Reading-78 Arithmetic-58 (contact Accuplacer Office at 308-6007 for classes required)
  • Applicants considered for admission to the PN Diploma program must have completed successfully the program prerequisite courses: HLTH1440 or ADMS1228, PSYC1304, ENGL1302, BLGY1320 (A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.)
  • Applicants considered for admission to the PN A.A.S. Degree program must have completed successfully the program prerequisite courses: HLTH1440 or ADMS1228, PSYC1304, CMST1320 or CMST2310, ENGL1302, BLGY2310, 2320, 1351 (A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.)
  • All applicants considered for admission must have either completed a 3 credit-Nurse Aid course or provide verification of completion of a 75 hour Nursing Assistant course.
  • All applicants will need to have a current CPR card (Healthcare Provider-Adult, Child, Infant/AED).
