Margaret Broker, PT Dental Asst Instructor Pegi Broker-Relph is a certified and registered dental assistant, and a licensed dental hygienist in the State of Minnesota. Pegi began teaching full-time at the St. Cloud Technical College in 1978. Pegi now specializes in teaching only radiology to both 1st and 2nd year students. Pegi has a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Cloud State University.

Kim Butkowski

Kim Butkowski, PT Dental Assist Instructor Kim is a graduate of the St. Cloud Technical College dental assistant program. She is a certified and registered dental assistant and is currently enrolled at Bemidji State University to complete her BS degree in Career and Technical Education.

Prior to teaching at St. Cloud Technical College, Kim spent 14 years in the St. Cloud area working as both a chairside assistant and a business assistant.

Kim has been teaching in the dental assistant program at SCTC since 1991. She has been actively involved with the local dental assistants association and has served in various positions with that organization.

Carol Lindt, Dental Lab Assistant A graduate of St. Cloud Technical College, Carol is certified and registered dental assistant. She has been part of the dental team for many years at SCTC. Carol works with students in sterilization, infection control and handpiece maintenance.


Rita Peterson

Rita Peterson, Dental Assisting Instructor Rita Peterson started her career at SCTC in 2003 and was the dental assistant program director and instructor at Lakeland Academy in Minneapolis for 25 years. Rita is a graduate of South Central Technical College dental assistant program in Mankato, Minnesota and is currently a registered, certified dental assistant. She earned her BS degree in Vocational Education from the University of Minnesota in 1997. Prior to teaching, Rita worked as a chairside dental assistant in several offices in the metropolitan area. Rita also serves as the Dental Assistant Program Director.
