St. Cloud Technical College

Everyone using the parking lots between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. is required to purchase a parking permit. Beginning Summer Session, 2006, students will be charged a parking/access fee at $3 per credit. This fee will be charged automatically on the student's account. Students enrolled in purely online delivered courses will not be charged. Students on extended internships, or similar situations, off-campus may request a waiver of the fee. Daily parking permits are $2.

Students should request a waiver if they have a current handicapped sticker. Permits will be available in the Business Office. Student parking will be limited to Lot A, Lot C, and Lot D. Vehicles without a permit will receive a ticket. A parking permit refund may be obtained from the Business Office on the same prorated basis used to refund tuition upon withdrawal from the College. In order to receive the refund, the permit must be returned at the time the refund is requested. Replacements for damaged permits may be purchased for $2 upon presentation of the old permit. A $10 fee will be charged for replacement of lost, stolen or damaged permits. Additional permits may be purchased for $10. Motorcycle permits will be issued at no extra charge provided a regular permit has been purchased. Parking/access fees are reviewed annually and subject to change.

The purchase of a permit does not guarantee the availability of a parking space at all times. Any vehicle parked on the campus is parked at the risk of the owner. The College assumes no responsibility for care or protection of any vehicle or its contents. Unpaid parking tickets will be recorded and will prohibit a student from registering for classes and obtaining transcripts.
