Application Day is September 15

St. Cloud Technical College will begin taking applications for Fall 2010 beginning on September 15, 2009.  Students may apply in person at the college, submit an application online, or mail in their application to the Admissions Office. 

The college has changed its admission procedure and no longer admits students on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Students may apply to the college, but will not be admitted to the major of their choice until they have passed the Accuplacer test.  If they do not perform well on the test, we will admit the student to the college to begin their college readiness courses and admit them to the major once those courses are complete.

Due to this change, we do not anticipate long lines in the lobby and will not need students to apply on-line at a specific time and date.  All of the health care programs, including Surgical Technology, will require students to complete pre-requisite courses prior to admissions.  Students will begin their pre-requisite courses at SCTC and apply for a future acceptance date for their health care major.
