I have had the pleasure of being involved with the SCTC Foundation and St. Cloud Technical College (SCTC) for more than 10 years. Over the years I have learned so much about the College. The educational opportunities the College provides are absolutely amazing.

Each month the college hosts tours for community members. I personally invite you to attend a tour. The tours take one hour and I guarantee you will learn something new about the college like I have. Please contact Penny Casavant at 320-308-5980 to schedule a tour.

Annually, I fund scholarships for students and make numerous donations to the Foundation. As the owner of McDowall Company, a commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and roofing contractor, it is important to give back to the community. A community my family business has been a part of for the last 58 years.

My son Matt attended SCTC in the Sales & Management program and has told me how much he has learned. He tells me about the tremendous energy in every classroom and how eager the instructors are to help every student succeed. The one-on-one instruction and hands-on experiences have prepared him for a wide variety of opportunities.

• 65% of the students that attend the college are from the five counties of: Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Morrison, and Wright.
  
  
• Upon graduation, SCTC graduates get jobs. For the past decade, 96% of SCTC graduates obtained jobs in their career major.
  
  
• 96% of SCTC graduates work in the state of Minnesota upon graduation. Most of them within a 30 mile radius of St. Cloud .
