LIBRARY COURTESY
The SCTC Library provides a quiet space for research and study; as well as materials for classroom assignments and personal interest. Please follow these common courtesy guidelines:
- Maintain Quiet – Be aware of noise levels so others in the area may work undisturbed. Cell phone use is not permitted in the library.
- No Food or Beverages– Do not bring food or drinks into the library as spills damage library materials, furniture, and computers and create a messy, unsafe environment.
- Check Out all Materials– Check out all materials you take from the library. You are responsible for all materials checked out on your library account. Do not lend your Student ID to someone else.
- Return Materials on Time – If you need to extend your loan period, you can renew by phone or in person as long as the items are not already overdue.
- Do Not Reshelve Library Materials – Please leave items you are not checking out at the Circulation Desk.
