Students who are unsure of their career choice can usethe following resources for career exploration and development.

Career exploration services include:

1. Career Interests
   An inventory of interests compares a student's interests to those of persons employed in over one hundered occupations. This inventory is a starting point for exploring careers that match individual interests.

    

2. Occupational research
   The Minnesota Career Information System (MCIS) is a computer-based method of exploring career preferences and learning about the details for specific occupations and educational programs. Other exploration resources include a variety of books and catalogues available in the Career Center. (MCIS Log-In information: username: counselors, password: cyclones)

    

3. Career Exploration
   Internet career exploration programs such as ISEEK. It includes self-assessments of interests and values at no cost to you.
