How to Register

In order to be eligible to register for classes each semester, students must have fulfilled each of the following:
 

  1. Submitted their immunization records.
     
  2. Fulfill all financial obligations to the college.
     
  3. Returned all overdue materials to the Resource Center.
     
  4. Declared majors must go through Orientation and be acepted to St. Cloud Technical College.

Students who are on academic probation must see a counselor in the counseling office and should meet with their academic advisor prior to registration.

Course Registration Procedure

The Office of Records and Registration is responsible for maintaining the student record system and for the distribution of course registration materials. The Office of Records and Registration also is responsible for the release of transcripts and the awarding of degrees, diplomas and certificates. Any questions regarding adding and dropping classes, transfer of credit and graduation, should be directed to the Office of Records and Registration. The following is the procedure used to register for classes at St. Cloud Technical College.
 

  1. Review semester schedule online.
     
  2. Meet with faculty advisor. The advisor will review the individual program plan with the student to ensure registration for appropriate courses and to be sure that prerequisites and other educational requirements have been met. The student must meet with an advisor in order to obtain an advisor code. The advisor code is necessary to allow access to the Web Registration System.
     
  3. Prepare a schedule worksheet to make certain that no time conflicts are scheduled.
     
  4. Follow the instructions located online on our Registration pages.
