You have two accounts for SCTC.

The first account is your Tech ID.  This 8 digit number is your unique student ID code.  In connection with this ID you will have a 6 digit PIN code (personal identification number).   You use your Tech ID account to:

• sign up for classes
• check your grades
• access eStudent services.

If you forget your Tech ID number or the password (PIN - personal identification number), you will need to contact Student Services.   (Phone the campus at 320-308-5000 and then ask for Student Services.

Your other account is your Campus Login ID (Computer Network Login).  This is an 8 character code which starts with 4 letters and is followed by 4 numbers.  You use your Campus Login / Network ID for :

• using the campus computer labs
• accessing your campus email
• opening your online course sites (through D2L).

It is very important that you create a secure password (hard to guess) which includes lower-case and upper-case letters, and numbers or symbols.  Keep your password secret -- do not share it with anyone (not even family members).

If you forget your Campus Login ID or need to have your password reset, you can contact the Open Computer Lab.  The lab is located in room 1-405 (near the admissions office), and the phone number is 320-308-6445.  Be prepared to show your official campus ID card when requesting your password be reset.
