Students in programs requiring laptops may order their laptop computers from a recommended vendor. The recommended company has established a web site for our student's use and their prices will be posted on the site. Sales tax will be added to the cost of computers and software. The recommended laptops are dependable and capable of performing the functions needed. They are high-end computers that will perform well during the college years as well as after graduation.  To view the laptop models and prices, click the link below. You will receive the student tech ID you need to order the laptop during Orientation/Registration.

All laptop programs require Microsoft Office 2007 which will be sold at the SCTC Bookstop. Your laptop will also require Symantec Anti-Virus, which is provided to you as part of the student technology fees program. If you order your laptop from the recommended vendor your laptop will arrive preinstalled with a copy of Symantec Anti-Virus.
