Mark Hollenhorst

Mark is a lifelong resident of St. Cloud and has been involved in baseball for over 30 years.  Mark is a Cathedral High School graduate and played collegiate baseball at St. John's University.  He's coached at several levels including a very successful three year stint as an Assistant Baseball Coach for Cathedral High School.  Mark was instrumental in bringing baseball to St. Cloud Technical College.

Jason Fischer

Jason Fischer comes to St. Cloud Technical College after serving three years with the St. Cloud State University baseball program, including the 2007 season as the Interim Head Coach.  Fischer led the Huskies to a third place finish in the North Central Conference, and a third place finish in the conference tournament.  Prior to 2007 Fischer was the Graduate Assistant where he served as the Hitting and Infield Coach.

Jason Fischer played two years of college baseball at St. Cloud State University.  In 1999 he set the single season appearance record, and helped his team finish second in the North Central Conference tournament.  That year he tied for the league lead in conference era at 0.00, and led the conference in opponents against batting average at .125.  Fischer also hit .425 as a senior.  Prior to his playing career at SCSU he was the State Tournament MVP for North Hennepin Community College, leading them to a State Championship in 1997.

Fischer gradated from Fergus Falls Senior High where he was a Lion’s All-star; he led his team in a number of offensive and pitching categories.  He was voted team MVP. His amateur baseball experience includes playing in 8 state tournaments, earning all state tournament team twice, and winning a state Championship with the Watkins Clippers in 2001.

Jason Fischer earned a double master’s from St. Cloud State University in Sports Management and Physical Education.  He is a Physical education instructor at St. Cloud State University.  He and his wife Michelle reside in St. Cloud.
