Zierden is a NJCAA Distinguished Academic All American 
Jen Zierden, sophomore from Melrose, was recently named as St. Cloud Technical College's 2006 - 07 Scholar Athlete. A two year starter in softball, Zierden finished with a career batting average of .392 and a grade point average of 4.0
Jonas Named To NJCAA Region XIII Team
Dave Jonas, a sophomore catcher from ROCORI, was recently named to the All Region team. Respected by his peers as an outstanding defensive catcher with a strong throwing arm, Jonas completed his second season hitting .368 from the plate with 8 doubles, four triples and 1 home run.
St. Cloud Technical College offers students a chance to participate in several intercollegiate sports. Options include men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball.

Men’s baseball and women's softball are National Junior College Athletic Association members, participate in the Minnesota Community College Conference and are eligible for post-season tournament play.
Men’s and women’s basketball, and volleyball are members of the eight team Northern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Each sport offers student athletes open tryouts at the beginning of its respective season.
