Alumni Association Celebrates Sixth Year

60 Years of H-I-R-E Education

Formed in 2002, the SCTC Alumni Association today provides support to over 20,000 alumni. It is an entity within the college that provides information and services for alumni and friends.

The association provides this bi-annual newsletter and monthly electronic e-news to keep you up-to-date about college happenings. In every newsletter, you will see stories about accomplishments of alumni and friends.

Alumni accomplishments are also honored at the association's Autumn in the Air event held annually in November. Please join us at this fun event. Past attendees tell us they enjoyed connecting with friends and eating the elaborate food made by the SCTC culinary art students.

On September 7th the association held its very first golf event. It was great to see so many students, alumni, SCTC employees, and friends connecting with each other to help raise funds for the alumni association.

Funds help the association provide information and services to you. Through your help, it has been able to provide support for student scholarships, student organizations, alumni events, and technology and equipment in classrooms and labs.

The alumni association has a website dedicated to you at www.sctc.edu/alumni. On this site you will find information about college events, alumni awards, and career services. You will also find a list of the alumni committee members who volunteer their time and talents. We welcome you to join the alumni committee and to volunteer your time and talents.

As a friend, alumnus, or alumna, you are a steward of our college and a caretaker of our legacy. Together, we carry on the SCTC tradition of excellence.
