60 Years of H-I-R-E Education 
This year St. Cloud Technical College celebrates 60 years of providing technical education to the citizens of Central Minnesota. SCTC was founded in 1948 as a vocational-technical institute. What began with 100 students in 1948, choosing from six career options, has grown to serving over 12,000 students in over 100 different program majors and a variety of continuing education opportunities. Back in 1948, SCTC was part of the local school district. Today, it is part of the Minnesota State College and Universities System.Vision St. Cloud Technical College is the College of choice for quality education focused on high-skilled employment and life-long learning. Mission St. Cloud Technical College prepares students for life-long learning by providing relevant technical education and training for developing necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to obtain, maintain or advance in a career. |
